• Submit your essay and Enter the 2009 Astellas Ride of a Lifetime Contest! Contest deadline for essay submission is June 18, 2008. Download announcement. Visit the Website to submit your essay online

• We are gathering a team of UPMC / STI staff, friends and family to participate in the upcoming American Liver Foundation’s 5^th Annual Three Rivers Liver Walk on Sunday, May 18, 2008 at 8:30 a.m.  The ALF 5K walk will be held at the Southside Heritage Trail – rain or shine!    This fun-filled walk will help raise funds for research, education and advocacy for those affected by liver related diseases.

• As many of you may know, Team Pittsburgh already sells Sarris candy bars and Gift of Life t-shirts and hats every Thursday in the UPMC Presbyterian Cafeteria.  Now, Team Pittsburgh will also be able to sell these items at UPMC Montefiore Main Lobby every Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., but they need your help.

Regular/Support Meetings:

The TRIO-Pittsburgh Chapter has its monthly meetings to discuss chapter issues as well as support meeting so that you may discuss your transplant concerns and issues. Guest speakers will be announced accordingly. Meetings will be the 3rd  Sunday of every month.

Time 

1:30 pm - Support Group meeting to discuss your transplant concerns and issues.

2:30 pm - General Meeting to discuss Chapter events and issues
